Poe's tone in the Black Cat Was odd he thought of all humans as this. "Yet I am not sure that my soul lives, than I am perverseness is one of the primitive impulses of the human heart. Another place were he shows his tone is in paragraph 7 the last line. "I blush, I burn, I shudder, while I pen the damnable atrocity.

In the movie Psycho an example of irony I found was when Marion's sister went down into the fruit celler and saw Norman's mom. I thought the mom was going to turn around and stab Lila, but it turns out she was dead this left me confused. This is situational irony because through out the whole movie we never saw face it was so well hidden with the camera angles Hitchcock used. This is ironic because we saw mom kill two other people so we expected her to jump out the chair and kill Lila but no.
This left the audience confused because if mom didn't kill Arbogast and Marion who did? It turns out the whole time it was Norman dressed up as mom which really explained some of scenes in the movie like how mom can move so fast when she supposed to be disabled.

After reading La Guerra, Payasa and Marin I believe I found an archetype that fits all these characters. I feel this archetype fit La Guerra, Payasa and Marin because they all seem to have a loss of innocence and are all breaking the law or committing an offense. For example la Guerra steals and Payasa sniffs aerosol and Marin waits for men to pick her up.
The archetype I found that fits all three of these characters which is "The Fall". La Guerra was an sweet innocent girl but she lost that when her friends went away and she was left with the cholas. She became a chola and stole candies, make-up and lots more to keep her sweetness. Payasa did bad in school, she hated school, so she sniffed drugs to relax. Marin seem to had lost all faith and waited under a street light for one man to pick her up and take her away.
This is why I think these characters fit this archetype they all have a loss of innocence and or committing an offense or breaking the law. And I feel the most noticeable thing about all of them is them losing there innocence.

One day Alma was strolling an empty town because she was bored. She saw a wall full of names. She decided to write her name on the wall. She looks at the wall full of names. Then she turns and see's a doll through the fog on the window. She wiped off the fog And saw nothing. So she went inside the shack. And she saw a doll that looked like her. Then the doll disappeared onto a shelf. She went up and reached out to touch it, She touched it. Now she see's the shack bordered by a circle. And she is stuck on the shelf and can't move. Now there's a different doll waiting for its next victim.

When I started school i didn't know if it would be hard or not. But I can see that I have to "try hard" these next four years. I am going to try to plan my future even though I am uncertain if I want to go to college. I still am trying to figure out what I want to be. And I don't believe in stereotypes there are many people who have broken stereotypes and I want to be one of them.
In school or out I always try to be positive and helpful. Most of the time I joke around but that is when I know someone is not down. I also plan on making a new YouTube channel that consist of random videos that promote positivity. In school I plan on getting over a 3.7 GPA, by doing all my homework, getting all my late work, make sure I take notes and study for tests. And there is one saying I will always remember from Knox,
I CAN. I WILL. I MUST SUCCEED
